That realization became Forté.

For most of my life, I’ve been building something — businesses, homes, investments, a family, a career, and eventually a life I thought I understood.

I spent years in real estate, lending, investing, leadership, and entrepreneurship. I experienced success, built businesses, created opportunities, and learned how to make things happen.

Then life changed in a way I never expected.

I lost my husband unexpectedly. For a long time, I didn’t know who I was without the life we had built together.

Rebuilding wasn’t quick or simple. It took time, support, faith, and a willingness to start paying attention to parts of myself I had neglected for years.

As I rebuilt my health, confidence, purpose, and direction, I realized something important:

A good life isn’t built in just one area.

Health matters.
Purpose matters.
Relationships matter.
Money matters.
Business matters.
And none of it means much if you don’t have the time or freedom to actually enjoy what you’ve created.
